What we review
We identify each creditor, the nature and origin of the liability, any security or guarantee and the stage of collection. The review also considers income, living costs and assets so that the options can be explained in context.
Documents to prepare
- An up-to-date list of creditors and balances
- Loan agreements, guarantees and collection notices
- Income, expense and asset records
- Details of existing enforcement or insolvency proceedings
You do not need to arrive with a perfect file. Bring what is available and identify any documents still missing, especially where a formal date or deadline is involved.
Choosing the next step
The assessment should explain which debts need special treatment, what information is still missing and the practical consequences of the possible route. A proposed plan and a debt discharge are different outcomes; neither should be assumed before the case is assessed.
Questions about the process
Will every debt disappear?
No blanket promise is appropriate. Eligibility, exclusions, the type of liability and the court's decision must be considered. We explain the expected scope and limitations after reviewing the file.
How do I arrange an initial consultation?
Call the Madrid office or use the enquiry form. Explain the main facts and any relevant deadline. We will identify the information needed and the scope of any proposed work.
